For the purpose of disaster notices, the contact information submitted in this form can be used by authorized government disaster coordinators to send emergency notices to any work or home address in the designated notification area. The system will send these Mass Emergency Notifications without sharing registered names, addresses or phone numbers with the sender.
Mobile messages, especially text messages are considered to be the most rapid method to receive emergency alerts, but registrants should provide as many options to receive messages as possible.
Not all messages will be sent by voice or as text messages
Not all mobile carriers provide sufficient bandwidth in all areas to support text message services and registrants can experience major delays with some providers.
Receipt of email, voice and text messages require operational connections via land lines, mobile, or internet enabled devices.
To receive text messages, the Text Messaging option must be available and enabled on the mobile device.
This service does not charge registrants to receive notifications, however
- Standard phone charges, mobile minutes and text messaging rates may apply for calls and text messages you receive as provided in your telephone or wireless plan.
- Each registrant should contact their service provider for details.
Changes to personal preferences and contact information can be made by logging into your profile at https://www.i-info.com/miprofile
Registrants can opt out of receiving messages at any time by updating their profile accordingly.
